On Wednesday I popped along to The Sanderson Hotel to find out all about Avon's new make up collection due to launch in August. Whilst sipping on cocktails we were introduced to the fab new products and stunning brand ambassador Alesha Dixon, and given a demo of the products by Pixiwoo.
The total overhaul sees the introduction of Treu Colour Technology which I'm really excited about as I often buy products, loving the colour they appear in the appear to be, only to be disappointed when I apply. The True Colour Technology works as the base of the new Avon products is translucent rather than opaque, which is still the case with other brands, so Avon promises what you see is what you get!
One of the products I love is the Ultra Colour Lip Crayons (£7.50) with vitamin E and shea butter. They are really chunky and the pigments are really intense, saturating your lips with your choice of the 6 shades. But if they don't take your fancy there are also 30 shades of Ultra Colour Lipstick (£7.50) infused with SPF15, vitamin E, Arctic Berry and omega-3 to choose from!
I'm yet to get a chance to play with the amazing eye palettes which are also part of the launch, in duos (£6), quads (£9) and eights (£12), but I will keep you posted...
