Baby Shoe Edit

Up until I had baby Sophie I didn’t really get baby shoes. Babies don’t walk, why do they need shoes, that cost loads and they grow out of them so fast? It is because they are cute. Very cute. Also, now it is chilly they do keep little ones feet nice a toastie warm. So here are some of my favourites I found and love, some from the big brands and others from little independent companies, so I hope I’ve given you some ideas for your Christmas shopping!

I have a thing about baby animal slippers, they are just adorable, like a cuddly toy in shoe form. My pal had a super cute fox pair which I then tracked down on line at Funky Feet Fashions, they were a little boyish so I picked up the Shaggy Sheep Slippers Funky Feet £18.99 for little S for Christmas and another pair for her friend Jemima's birthday too. Last year I bought a pair of bunny slippers from The White Company in preparation for baby's arrival (as my sister questioned, perhaps slippers weren't the number one essential when shopping for a spring baby, I knew otherwise...) which they have brought out again this year. I opted for Lumi the polar bear to add a bit of variety! Lumi Polar Bear Baby Booties The White Company £22

Although I take S out wearing slippers, she does also have an extensive 'going out' shoe collection too. I bought this fringed lined boots from H&M on a shopping trip as the weather turned and they look just too cute teamed with her Gap skinny jeans, and heck, pretty much all her outfits. I'm slightly heartbroken that she has nearly grown out of them! Lined Boot H&M £5.99

Luckily, she has this gorgeous pair of sheepskin booties from Toastie Pig to grow into, she will look all grown up with proper laces! I have slight shoe-envy here, little S is never going to have chilly feet with these on! Genuine Sheepskin Booties Toastie Pig £20

To team wither her Christmas party dresses, every girl needs some Mary-Janes. These Chanel inspired real leather T-bars are every girls dream. Do they come in my size too? Matilda Little LuLu’s £45

Red has been everywhere in the shops un the run up to Christmas and to make sure she is fully co-ordinated these cute patent bow shoes will be making a few appearances. Red bow shoes Baby Gap £9.95 (in store only)

One of the funnest baby classes we attend is Baby Boppers (as part of the Dotty and Jack's Club) which I fondly call baby-diso. These pink glitter shoes are perfect to help S get her groove on! Pink Glitter Hightops My 1st Years £25

Another pregnancy purchase where these cute plimsoles from Superga. The bright prink isn't in this seasons' colour palette, but there are some really cute lilac ones. The heaviest of the baby shoes, I'm glad I didn't opt for a smaller size!

So which are your favourite?
