Mani Monday: OPI Glitzerland

OPI Glitzerland

Hello again! I've had a little blog-break for the past fortnight as being back at work and catching up on non-blog related things has kept me busy. But for Mani Monday today I'm sharing with you my nail shade I donned for LFW where I managed to pop along to a few shows. Glitzerland (£11.95 from OPI.co.uk) is a not too sparkly gold from OPI is a dream to pair with any outfit, so was one less thing to worry about. I do love golds at this time of year as they aren't completely anti-summer but also fit with the AW vibe without being too wintery. What colours are you rocking during this trans-seasonal period?

Timothy Han Candles

I am a little scented candle obsessed and have a new beauty that I am currently burning, Wild Rose from Timothy Han (£38 Available from www.timothyhan.com). I really like the grey-blue sprayed glass which hides the less pretty half burnt candle after a few burning sessions. I'm having a bit of a rose moment, and the combination with geranium, sweet orange, yang ylang, and a woody bases gives the fragrance a modern twist and the spices add a warmth to the scent which suits the autumnal months.

I first got introduced to Timothy Han candles at a press day where I had a happy time sniffing all this different fragrances and this was one of my favs along with the Lemongrass, Marjoram & Lavender Candle.

Mani Monday: CMB Feelin' Hot Hot Hot

CMB Feelin' Hot Hot Hot

It may be September, but the sun is meant to be shining this week, so I have opted for a coral-pink shade 'Feelin' Hot Hot Hot' (£7.50 from CMB) to done my talons to stretch out the last of the Summer. I hadn't tried Colour Me Beautiful nail lacquer before and was pleasantly surprised, it applied really well and was really opaque and dried quickly too. What nail shades are you reaching for at the moment - summer colours or Autumnal tones?

Topshop beauty: Molten Metallics

Topshop beauty: Molten Metallics

Last month Topshop launched their new Molten Metallic Collection, including lip sticks, cream blush and nail shades to help you nail the 80's metallic trend. I've tried out the metallic lip in Mercurial (£8) a silver pink and the metallic cream blush in Pulse - a rose gold (£7) to show you. Being a blusher obsessive, the cream blush didn't have as much pigment as I normally would use, but I did like the shimmer it gave to my cheek bones, so I think I'll use it along side my standard blush in future. However, I LOVED the slivery lips, I feel like an ice-queen and think this will be such a sophisticated winter look and is subtle enough for day time and evenings.

August Beauty Favorites

I can't believe that the Summer if over and it is officially September and back to school! But a new month means a favourites post and I love thinking back over the last four weeks to the products I've been loving recently.

I have been obsessed with Narciso perfume (£69/90ml) which I have been wearing constantly, and the packaging is to die for. This blend of Rose and 9 Cedar is my current go-to scent.

You may have seen my range of No 7 makeup posts and videos this month and one my favourite items from all of the looks is the No 7 Stay Perfect Long Lasting Volume Mascara (£12.95) which is a tubing mascara - so doesn't flake and adds length and impressive volume to my lashes.

Another makeup goodie I've been loving are the Ombre Matte Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadows form the Autumn Ladylike Collection from Clinique in Nude Pink and Sparkle Grey (£19) which are gorge colours and the texture is so blendable.

I went lip balm crazy earlier this month and discovered my ultimate - Nuxe Reve de Miel (£9.50 M&S) which makes my lips so soft and hydrated - no crack lips for me thank you!

I always use a hairspray when I style my hair and Windle & Moodie's Light Satin (£18) version is all that has been gracing my locks this month. It holds my curls, waves and messy up do's in place without the sticky crunchiness and smells phenomenal.

I also completed the Venus goddess legs selfie challenge in August and fell in love with their new Sugarberry razor collaboration with Olay (£10.99 with one cartridge) - no shaving gel needed and so far no nicks or irritation.

Have you tried any of these products? Are any of them your favs too?

Radical Skincare

Radical Skincare

Over the summer I had the opportunity to meet with the founders of Radical skincare - sister team Liz and Rachel who are daughters of Dr Richard F Edlich - a professor of plastic surgery. Since then, I've been trying out some of their skincare products to see what all the hype is about.

I do really like the products and one of my favourites is the Hydrating cleanser (£30/120ml SpaceNK) which removes my makeup super easily and is really gentle on the skin and eyes - mine often sting after I use a cleanser to take off mascara but no sensitivity with this beauty. It also hydrates the skin too, so you don't get the tight post-cleansing sensation. Rating ****

I've then followed with the Youth Infusion Serum (£110/50ml SpaceNK) which, although over my budget for skincare, leaves my complexion feeling silky smooth and hydrated. It is also is super charges with anti-ageing ingredients to reduce wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Rating ***

Over the serum I've applied the Anti-Ageing Replenishing Extreme Moisture Cream (£100/50ml SpaceNK) which I've also really liked. It is golden brown in colour and glides onto the skin. I is infused with cutting edge ingredients to increase hydration by forming a second skin barrier - which prevents evaporation of moisture from the skin and fights free radicals. Rating ****

The Eye Revive Creme (£80/15ml SpaceNK) was also in my pack, but I couldn't get the dispenser to work - I ended up pulling the packaging apart to try it once and swatch it which is such a shame as I've heard great reviews. This 4in1 treatment is meant to hydrate, reduce wrinkles, puffiness and discolouration. When I tried it, the lightweight cream was quickly absorbed into my eye area and left the skin feeling hydrated.

Overall with the brand, I've been impressed at the hard working ingredients, the texture and fragrance of the products and (except the eye cream) the packaging is neat and handy too - I especially like the serum which twists to bring up the pump. So if you have some cash to slash on skincare, I'd take a good look at Radical.

Mani Monday: Topshop Profound

Topshop Nails Profound

I'm back to school today - how depressing! To cheer myself up yesterday I choose what nail shade I would go for and it totally worked. I opted for the muted lilac rose shade - Profound from Topshop Beauty (£5).  I do love lilac nails and this is perfect for work as i isn't too bright or sweet and is just so pretty. I popped on two coats for full coverage.
