Mummy Beauty

This post was written in collaboration with The Bentalls Centre

When a little one enters your life, time and sleep become a precious commodities, but looking your fabulous pre-baby self doesn't have to stop once mother-hood arrives. As my blog started very beauty orientated, I was never going to be a bare-faced mummy, and over the past two years since Sophie arrived, I’ve discovered some mummy (and lets face it anyone who’s super busy and tired!) beauty hacks.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer gives flawless coverage and reduces makeup application time as you can skip using an additional concealer. I love the inbuilt applicator as you can dab the product straight onto the problem areas before blending.

Perk up a dull completion with a great blusher. Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic swish and pop blusher in Ecstasy is a flattering shade that gives a youthful boost and healthy glow.

A little lippy can transform and make you feel glammed-up and an instant. I love nude shades and Sweet Blossom is a current favourite.

I’ve always been mascara obsessed, long luscious lashes are the ultimate in femininity. Finding a great mascara is the key to looking and therefore feeling great. I’ve fallen in love with Benefit They're Real mascara. In only a few strokes it gives you film star lashes that don’t smudge or transfer, looking perfect all day long.

Keeping your make up looking freshly applied all day, so you don’t need re-touch is key. bareMinerals Mineral Veil absorbs any oils that appear on your skin to keep you looking flawless. Blurring lines and softening your complexion also help to give you an air-brushed finish.

The tingly Emergising Emulsion from Clarins isn't just for tired legs. If you persuade your other half to give you a shoulder massage, apply afterward to leave you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle anything.

All products are available at The Bentalls Centre Kingston.
