Aveda Jewels of the Earth Make up collection

I don't have to tell you that jewel colours are massive at the moment, I'm sure that your wardrobe is bursting with deep teals, raspberries and burnt oranges but now it the time to get yourself some beauty kudos by adding some of these luxurious tones to your cosmetics.

The floral loving Aveda launched their Jewels of the Earth collection at the beginning of September, but now the party season is upon us and the dark nights and Christmas lights are out, I'm just starting to embrace the trend.

The collection includes three new lip shades, which are an instant update.

The bravest among you should pump up the regal and try the Tanzanite Nourish-Mint Soothing Lip colour, which is a deep berry.

Others dabbling in the jewel-trend may like to start with the more subtle Petalite Nourish-Mint Mineral lip colour.

And the final shade is show-stopping Vanadinite Nourish-Mint Soothing Lip colour which is the perfect under the mistletoe accessory.

The collection also includes six limited edition Petal Essence eye shadows which smell like your in a garden as they are enriched with the waxes of jasmine and geranium and they blend into your lids with ease. Although the individual shadows look a bit forlorn in their plastic packages, you can add them into a compact.
