It may not come as a complete surprise to you, that finding a little beauty item under the tree is always a winner, so here is some inspiration for your Christmas Shopping List.
If you decide to go for skincare for the most important lady in your life (Mum - obviously!) go as high-end and luxurious as you can afford. As fantastic as you might think one of the supermarket brands are, it’s not going to make her feel spoilt and appreciated. I recommend one of the gorgeous masks by Darphin; you can choose from a Hydrating Kiwi Mask which after leaving on for 5 minutes left my skin feeling dewy and silky smooth (£27/75ml). If you feel like pushing the boat out their Youthful Radiance Camellia Mask which firms and smoothes away wrinkles sounds heavenly for a more mature skin.
Going up a generation, why not treat Grandma to relaxing bath time treat. Pai has produced a bath oil and body oil gift set and as you'd expect from this brand, it is perfect for those with sensitive skin. I tried out the tranquillity bath oil at the end of a stressful week, and was so relaxed by the Jasmine and May Chang that I nearly slipped off into slumber... (£13.99 available from http://www.thinkskinloveskin.com/)
Teenage girls must be one of the easiest groups to buy for; they haven’t become stuck in a make-up routine and love to experiment with new brands and products. So why not make them up a little stocking full of some cheap and cheerful beauty treats. I'd include some nail wraps that you love, but feel a decade too old for. Myleene Klass has recently launched 16 different nail wrap designs, I love the Zebra print! Each pack comes with a nail file to shape the wrap to fit your nail. (£5.99 available from http://www.jmldirect.com/, Boots, Asda, Wilkinsons and Debenhams)
These super-cute lip balms by Lip Smacker would also go down a treat - they smell exactly the same as your favourite fizzy drink (£2.50 each available from Primark)
Got a pregnant friend or relation to buy for this year? I bet what they'd love is to say goodbye to morning sickness. Maison d'Anu the no-nasties beauty brand has perfect pulse point roll ons in mint or ginger scents to help counter-act any feelings of nausea. (£10/10ml http://www.maisondanu.co.uk/)
Hope this has given you some ideas, happy shopping! x
