OOTD: Making the most of Mat-leave friends

I've been lucky enough to have been on mat-leave at the same time as one of my besties but as her babe has just turned one, she will be heading back to work in a few weeks! I'm not taking this well, but to lessen the blow I'm maximising the time I'm spending with her and little J. Last week we met at Thames Ditton, which is a cute little village SW of London where we had some lunch with the babies and then walked and chatted our way up to Thames Ditton. This is where we took some snaps by the river, before nosing in the cute bric-a-brac shops and making the return journey.

The weather wasn't too chilly, so I decided to team my new think lightweight blush jumper from Karen Millen Outlet at GunWhalf Keys with my oversized coat from La Redoute - a collaboration with designer Coralie Marabelle. I've got size 8, and it is huge, so don't worry about fitting layers underneath. I clashed this up with my burgundy skinnies and black knee high boots. I'm not sure I quite managed to look as sophisticated at the French women in the 60s which Coralie used as inspiration for her collection for La Redoute, but I loved it.

Little Sophie was snug as a bug in her Bugaboo Limited Edition Diesel Buffalo pushchair, which was super handy going over some muddy footpaths.
