How is it the end of June already? This month seems to have flown by and I'm slightly sad that the longest day has passed, but July will no-doubtfully be a goodie. Summer camp this week, then Summer holidays start! On to the things I've been loving this month. The last two monthly faves post I've started with my current home fragrance, and I am back to obsessing over candles, this month The White Company in White Geranium (£26) being my scent of choice. It smells calm and spa-esk and I really love the white ceramic holder, as you can't see the wax burn down and unlike the other candles from The White Company, it comes with a lid to stop dust getting in - and you can use is a 'snuffer'. Popcorn is really making a comeback and you'll have seen loads more brands turning up in the supermarket. I LOVE the sweet-salt combination (salted caramel and chocolate peanut butter does the same for me too) and Metcalfe's is my fav brand. Also a reasonably low-cal snack too.
Skincare wise, I have fallen in love with Alpha H Instant Facial (£37/100ml) using botanical ingredients it helps to remove the dead cells on the surface of the skin and adds hydration. I've found that it has reduced redness and helped decongest my pores. It is also awesome to use to get rid of any dodgy fake tan marks. I'll be telling you more about this in my next 'whats in my bathroom' post later this week.
Moving on to make-up, you might have seen my post last week on Paul & Joe - I am in love with this cute kitten eye shadow pallet (£7) with the April in Paris trio of shades (£23) - pop over to my previous post to see the colors and the swatches.
Finally, I thought I'd share the gloss that has been donning my lips most of this month. I am loving Luxurious Berry from the Max Factor Colour Elixir Fluid Gloss Collection (£7.99). Super shiny but none sticky this redish-pink is a fab bright lip for the summer months. I'll be sharing some more of the shades with you later this week!
