Your hairbrush does actually make a missive difference to how your hair actually looks, it can help build body, reduce and add shine, depending on the brush you use. Braun has recently launch their Satin Hair Brush (£19.49 at Superdrug) which, when turned on, releases ions which counter acts the static and fizz in your locks making them shinier and smoother. The bristles on the brush are super round and smooth, to aid the smoothing effect and the cushion is designed to help give a gentle, no snag run through your hair. The auto turn off feature is handy too, so you won't run the battery down if you forget to switch it off.
I've been using the brush for a couple of weeks, and I do really like using it for a final brush through when I'm having a straight hair day, and good to use with my straighteners which can also cause extra static in my hair. I think it helps to give my hair a smoother finish. However, this brush isn't going to replace my entire brush collection (of course I have more than one....I think my hair brush collection is quite small for a beauty blogger!) as I still need my roller brush for blow drying and my soft bristle brush for using through my hair when I've curled it, as I found that the Braun Satin Hair Brush deconstructed my waves too much. If you do get fizzy or static hair, this could be a great hair brush for you.
