Yesterday was the christening of one of my besties baby boy and I wore a navy lace dress from Whistles that I bought in the sales last summer with my bright yellow Zara coat, as it wasn't super hot first thing. I wanted pretty nails that complemented the dress and coat, but weren't too bright for the church service. Having just acquired this rich purple shade, Saturated, from Orly (£10.50), I decided to give it a whirl. Although the polish isn't that shiny when it dries, it looks super glossy after you've popped a top coat on, and I really loved the decadent shade, which looked fun against my yellow coat and would set off other brights that are in my summer wardrobe. I think I'll be pulling out this regal shade come winter time too, it would also look amazing against leather and faux fur.
