What's in my bathroom: Morning Skincare Routine

Liz Earl Cleanse and polish, Alpha H instant facial, Pai rosehip, bioderma sensibio light, StriVectin SD

On to skincare with my What's In My Bathroom series of posts - I hope you are enjoying them. Being beauty obsessed, I realize that I do have a longer routine than most, and I am really lucky to be sent so many fab products to try, so please don't think that you should be doing all of these steps.

When I go into the shower in the morning, I like to use a creamy cleanser, as I don't want to dry out my skin, Liz Earl's Hot Cloth Cleanser (£14.75/100ml) is my current choice which contains eucalyptus which helps to wake me up - I included this in my March Favorites video, I'v been loving it for a while! I pop it on when I go into the shower, and use a muslin, or flannel to take it off, just before I get out. I don't really like using this in the evening as I prefer a wash-off cleanser as I don't like getting makeup all over the muslins.
After patting my face dry, I sweep over a few pumps of Alpha H Instant Facial (£37/100ml) on a cotton pad.  I featured this product in this months favorites post, as I really love it. It can feel a bit tingly, especially if you have any blemishes, but I've found it have really helped to improve my skin, clearing blemishes and brightening my complexion.

I then feel super clean and cleansed and then I apply Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Fruit & Seed Oil Blend (£20/30ml) by putting 3 drops of the oil onto my palms, rubbing my hands together and then pressing into to my face, neck and decolletage, as this helps to get the product into the skin better. Everyone raves about this oil which helps to which works to help reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks, fine lines and UV damage. Trying to undo sun damage and prevent lines appearing, I've been adding this into my routine. If you are nervous about using a facial oil, don;t be, it doesn't feel oily at all and your skin will soak it up really quickly.

When I remember I have then been adding StriVectin SD Eye concentrate (£7.81/7ml at QVC at the moment), around my eyes, which is meant to be good at combating crows feet, I've been using it more as a preventative measure!

Finally, the moisturizer I've been opting for recently is Bioderma Sensibio Light - Soothing Cream (£14.30/40ml) which is really light, perfect for this warm weather, where thicker creams can cause you to perspire. Even though it is really light-weight it removes all tightness from the skin and protects against external aggravators. Sadly no SPF, so make sure you slap the sun-cream on too!
